Lessons for groups
For over 30 years the Boerma Instituut has organised national and international floral design courses. It is one of they few, if not the only school where you can learn professional and the practical skills of Dutch Floral design. Here you can truly learn all there is to know about the ‘tricks of the trade’, this is something that is regarded very high in all our courses.
For companies, organisations and association
We can offer companies, organisations and association, who all have their own special wishes, ‘custom made’ lesson programmes. These practical lessons can be given at the Boerma Instituut in Aalsmeer, where we have access to all the necessary materials, but we can also go to other locations, in Holland or abroad.
Whether were talking about a product presentation, a day to relax and have fun for your employees or relations, a demonstration or a professional training: everything is possible !
Just say when, how, with what, where and what fore a training is wanted, for every level of expertise there is bound to be a ‘floral solution’ to be found.
Whether were talking about a hand tied bouquet, a Biedermeier arrangement, a decorative wreath, a Christmas or exclusive arrangement. And all of this within a period and a group-size that you desire, from half a day till, for example, five or more days.
If you book a day- or a complete course, an extensive lunch-buffet is included in the course fee, served in our comfortable bar ‘Café de Mijnen’.
For a group course you can register online, we will contact you about the accurate dates and wishes.
Some groups even travel half way over the world to visit
Holland, the land of flowers, according to the people from 'Artistic Adventures' in New Zealand. Two ladies of the group where even in the book ‘International Annual Floral Art 05/06’. They came over to have a look at our floral book shop.
Of course our bookshop was two small for around fourty ladies but we have spread out the books in the second classroom, so they could nose around in the more then 180 floral books. (at that time, now we have more then 200 books)
Just before they left our school, the forty ladies sang a very beautiful song together. That was so enchanting, it moved us all. (into tears)

For groups we can offer a half day course from 10.00-12.30 or from 13.15-15.45. During this course we teach the participants how to make the famous Dutch Handtied Bouquet.All materials, coffee, tea and certificate are included in the course fee.
Lunch is not included for a half day but can be arranged for the group.

For groups who can spend a whole day at the Boerma Instituut, we can offer a 1-day course from 10.00-15.45. During this course we teach the participants how to make the famous Dutch Handtied Bouquet and a Dutch Garden Style Arrangement as well.
